Bendheka [ben-dhe-ka] traslates to Guests in Kodava language. Kodava Thak is a language of Kodavas. Every time we have guests at home, we are delighted and say Bendheka Banth which means guests are here. Afterall Athithi Devo Bhava is what we follow.
